Sourced from the Mustafa Estate in Colombia, this caffeine-free Medium Roast is deliciously sweet and complex, with tasting notes of honey, milk chocolate and vanilla for a deliciously balanced cup of coffee. The Colombian-style process of sugarcane decaffeination allows us to remove the caffeine while leaving the flavour profile intact. The sugarcane imparts a characteristically sweet finish, which is notable for the region.

Full Description

Washing steam-treated coffee beans in a sugarcane-derived ethyl acetate (E.A.) solution effectively dissolves the caffeine and then the beans are dried once more until they are ready for the roaster. This process saves the bean from excessive heat which can destroy the complex flavours. Sourced from the Colombian Mustafa Estate, we can trace this back to a single farmer – Ana Mustafa – and her passion for specialist coffee. The Mustafa family run three farms in the Pereira region, producing some of the most in-demand coffee that is enjoyed around the world.
